Position Summary:

Eskola, LLC's Hammond, Louisiana branch is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team! The Production Foreman is responsible for overseeing and directing daily production operations on commercial roofing projects. This role ensures that all work is executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. The Production Foreman leads a team of laborers, coordinates with project management, and implements best practices to meet project deadlines and optimize productivity.


Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Team Leadership and Supervision:

  • Direct, manage, and motivate a crew of production laborers, assigning tasks and ensuring effective communication.
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance to achieve production targets.


Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to develop daily work schedules and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure materials and equipment are available and properly maintained.


Quality Assurance & Safety:

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and conduct regular safety briefings.
  • Monitor work for quality and compliance with industry standards and project specifications, taking corrective action as necessary


Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee the setup, execution, and cleanup of roofing operations, ensuring that work areas remain organized and hazard-free.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impede workflow or affect project quality.


Training and Development:

  • Mentor and train team members on best practices, safety procedures, and efficient production techniques.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.


Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of daily production, crew attendance, and equipment usage.
  • Communicate progress, issues, and incidents promptly to management.


Position Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Proven experience in commercial roofing or construction, with demonstrated success in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Prior experience managing production teams on large-scale projects is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening as a condition of hire.

Skills:
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in dynamic, outdoor environments.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical specifications, and project plans.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
  • Physical ability to inspect and monitor work activities on rooftops, including the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders or scaffolding for extended periods.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and using ladders in a variety of job site conditions.

Work Environment:
  • This position primarily involves working on commercial construction sites.
  • Occasional travel may be required to oversee projects at different locations.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and capable of safely using ladders and other elevated access equipment.


Driving:

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.


Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
