Forefront Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our compassionate team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to effectively evaluate clients’ mental health challenges, determining the most appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Create individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each client, utilizing evidence-based practices that yield the best possible outcomes.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging personal growth and emotional healing in a supportive atmosphere.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, addressing various aspects of clients' mental health and wellbeing.
• Engage and educate family members involved in the therapy process, helping them to understand and support their loved one's journey toward recovery.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client records in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

Our client base consists of individuals and families facing a wide array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and adjustment issues. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the cultural and personal needs of those you serve.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Empathy and a nonjudgmental approach are crucial in creating a supportive environment for client healing.
• Effective organizational and time management skills to balance caseloads and administrative responsibilities efficiently.

• Experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, or solution-focused therapy.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology to engage clients remotely.
• Previous work in community health settings or with underserved populations is a strong plus.
