Overview

The Waldorf Center for Plastic Surgery is Hiring - Full Time Aesthetician !! 

Monday - Friday schedule 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Summary:

The Aesthetician performs, explains, and schedules cosmetic procedures, consults, and treatment regimens regarding select treatments available at Forefront Dermatology. This position actively promotes/sells cosmetic products, pricing, and services. Actively promotes/sells cosmetic products and services. Performs, explains, and schedules select cosmetic consults and treatments per protocols. Provide appropriate patient education and after care instructions. Provide recommendations for cosmetic service enhancements and implements approved plans within specified timeframes. Assist with development of advertising and promotional materials.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform professional skincare services, including but not limited to:
    • Customized facials
    • Chemical peels (within Oregon scope of practice)
    • Dermaplaning (if certified)
    • Microdermabrasion
    • LED light therapy
    • Hydrafacial or similar treatments (if applicable)
  • Conduct thorough skin consultations and recommend individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate clients on skincare routines and home care products.
  • Recommend and sell professional skincare products to support treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate client treatment records and documentation.
  • Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and compliant with Oregon sanitation regulations.
  • Follow all OSHA, HIPAA (if in a medical setting), and infection control standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage retention and referrals.
  • Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and training opportunities.
  • Assist with promotional events, social media content, and community outreach as needed.

Qualifications

Education, Skills & Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited esthetician program or commensurate experience.
  • 1+ years of related experience in a medical office or spa setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer functions and keyboarding is required.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and operate standard office equipment is required.
  • Ability to understand a physician’s instructions and know when to seek additional information or clarification is required.
  • Demonstrates professional appearance and manner at all times. 
  • Ability to display a friendly, cheerful, tactful, and polite demeanor and compassionate caring in dealing with others is required.
