POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing Madeira/Cincinnati area office. This role is focused on high-volume residential foreclosure, eviction, and creditors' rights litigation. The ideal candidate will manage a residential portfolio, handle contested matters, and provide high-quality representation in court.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Litigation & Hearings: Manage a high-volume caseload, including all aspects of residential foreclosure and portfolio management. Confidently handle contested cases through resolution.
  • Document Management: Prepare, review, and approve foreclosure-related pleadings, motions, and legal documents with high accuracy.
  • Courtroom Advocacy: Represent clients in mediations, depositions, and both telephonic and in-person court hearings.
  • Client Representation: Conduct regular client meetings, provide case status updates, and ensure all litigation strategies align with client objectives.
  • Case Progression: Partner with support teams to ensure cases move through the legal pipeline in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Must hold an active license in good standing for both Ohio and Kentucky.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of experience in bankruptcy, collections, or civil litigation. (Courtroom experience is a significant plus).
  • Skills: * Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
    • Proactive communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and the court.
