Job Summary

The Foreclosure Supervisor leads a team of specialists to accurately manage defaulted loans from initial referral through liquidation or post-foreclosure actions. They act as a critical point of contact for external legal counsel, internal business units, and auditors to minimize loss severity and protect the company's financial interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Management: Supervise, coach, and evaluate a team of Foreclosure Specialists and Document Verification Specialists. Oversee daily tasks, establish production goals, manage attendance, and facilitate the training of new hires.
  • Pipeline & Timeline Oversight: Monitor the end-to-end foreclosure process to ensure strict adherence to state-specific timelines, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure all foreclosure actions strictly align with guidelines and federal compliance standards.
  • Document Review & Execution: Oversee the review and accurate execution of critical legal filings, affidavits, judgment figures, and foreclosure notifications prior to sales.
  • Vendor & Attorney Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external foreclosure attorneys, monitor their performance, and handle escalated legal or litigated issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the department, update standard operating procedures (SOPs), and implement process enhancements using data and operational reporting.
  • Audit Coordination: Lead internal and external audits regarding the default pipeline and coordinate corrective responses to any audit findings.
