Sewell Ford in Odessa, TX is actively hiring experienced Ford Certified Service Technicians to join our dealership service department. We are seeking highly skilled Automotive Technicians with strong diagnostic abilities and manufacturer certifications. This role is open for those able to work in Odessa, TX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using Ford diagnostic equipment

  • Test-drive vehicles and inspect systems to confirm accurate diagnosis

  • Repair and service engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking systems, HVAC, and electrical systems

  • Complete warranty repairs according to Ford factory standards and specifications

  • Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly with Service Advisors

  • Accurately document labor operations and repair details

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace


Qualifications
  • Relocation / Ability to work in Odessa, TX

  • 4+ years of Automotive Service Technician experience preferred

  • Ford Certifications strongly preferred (Ford Master, Senior Master, or Certified Technician)

  • Previous Ford dealership experience 

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools and scan equipment

  • Ability to interpret repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletins

  • Excellent attention to detail and workmanship quality

  • Basic computer skills for repair order documentation

  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • High school diploma or equivalent
