Job Description
We are looking for a Ford Quick Lane Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and ideally have Ford/OEM certifications. This role focuses on performing basic maintenance and light repair work while ensuring every vehicle is serviced efficiently and accurately. From fluid flushes and filter inspections to brakes and tire services, you'll play a vital role in keeping our customers' vehicles safe and reliable.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance such as fluid flushes, belt and filter inspections, and air level checks
  • Work on brakes, batteries, tires, shocks, struts, and ball joints
  • Test and verify systems and components to ensure they are functioning correctly
  • Diagnose issues by isolating problem systems or components
  • Drive vehicles for testing purposes as needed
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnostics and repair work
  • Repair or replace worn parts before breakdown or damage occurs
  • Use power tools, diagnostic tools, and standard hand tools for repairs

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year in a service department
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
  • ASE certifications preferred
  • Ford certification or prior Ford dealership experience is a plus
  • Strong automotive knowledge and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to quickly identify issues and recommend solutions
  • Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
