At The Joseph, every guest journey begins and ends at the Front Desk. As a Forbes Four-Star Luxury Collection Hotel in the heart of Nashville, we are dedicated to delivering personalized luxury hospitality through genuine connections, anticipatory service, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
We are seeking polished, service-driven, and hospitality-focused Guest Services Agents to join our Front Office team. As the face of the hotel, you will play a critical role in creating memorable experiences by providing warm welcomes, seamless arrivals and departures, and personalized service that exceeds guest expectations.

What You'll Do
  • Welcome guests with genuine warmth and professionalism, creating an exceptional first impression.
  • Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently while delivering Forbes Four-Star service standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations for dining, attractions, transportation, and hotel amenities.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, questions, and concerns, resolving issues with confidence and care.
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, upgrades, and payment transactions using Marriott property management systems.
  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Valet, Concierge, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel services, room types, amenities, promotions, and local attractions.
  • Handle confidential guest information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Assist with VIP arrivals, group arrivals, and special requests while ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly.
  • Maintain an organized, polished, and welcoming front desk environment.
  • Uphold all Marriott, Makeready, Forbes, and Luxury Collection service standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous front desk, guest services, hotel, or luxury hospitality experience preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for creating memorable guest experiences through personalized service.
  • Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills and comfort learning hotel systems.
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a luxury hotel, Forbes-rated property, or Marriott brand preferred.
  • Knowledge of Marriott PMS systems (Lightspeed or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Previous experience handling VIP guests and luxury service standards preferred.
