The Assistant Director, Recovery Services provides direct clinical oversight and supervision for Recovery Services programs while supporting the Director of Recovery Services in the daily operation of services. This roleis responsible forensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed treatment, supporting clinical staff development,maintainingcompliance with organizational and program standards, and advancing evidence-based practices throughout Recovery Services programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation and oversight of evidence-based recovery programming, assessments, treatment planning, and clinical curricula.
Mentor, coach, and provide clinical supervision to Clinical Supervisors and other assigned staff to support professional growth and quality service delivery.
Develop and coordinate clinical training for staff on assessment practices, treatment planning, ADA service provision, client engagement, and retention strategies.
Monitor treatment recommendations, level-of-care decisions, service intensity changes, and successful completion of treatment services.
Evaluate staff performance and complete annual performance reviews for supervised team members.
Facilitateand participate in group supervision meetings and other clinical leadership activities.
Review clinical documentation, productivity, time management, and compliance indicators to ensure adherence to program standards and organizational policies.
Support quality improvement initiatives, program evaluation activities, and data collection efforts.
Collaborate with organizational leadership tomaintainhigh-quality, trauma-informed care and positive client outcomes.
Respond to crises and coordinate emergency services as needed to support client wellbeing.
Serve as department leadership support and perform supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Director of Recovery Services.
Participatein required meetings and performadditionalduties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, ora relatedHuman Services field.
Licensed mental health professionalrequired(LPC, LCSW, LMFT, orPsy.D).
Previousmanagement or leadership experience required.
Previousexperience providing services withinSubstance Use Disordertreatment programs.
Strong knowledge of assessment, treatment planning, supervision practices, and evidence-based treatment approaches.

Additional Qualifications:

Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required.
Ability toestablishand maintain effective professional relationships through in-person, telephone, and electronic communication.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, staff, and community partners.
Ability to manage crisis situations and work effectively with individuals experiencing complex behavioral health challenges.
ExperienceutilizingElectronic Health Records (EHR) and maintainingaccurateclinical documentation.
Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint screening.
Ability to follow direction, accept supervision, and effectively balance multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements

Perform sedentary work involving exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and negligible forcefrequentlyto lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
Use hands, fingers, and arms repetitively for typing, writing, and computer-based work throughout the workday.
Sit for extended periods while performing administrative and clinical oversight duties.
Occasionally stand and walk for brief periods during meetings, supervision activities, and other work functions.
