Job description

 The Wimmer Communities Construction Team has recently and successfully opened the top-tier multi-family communities in the suburban Milwaukee market such as, Poplar Creek and Riverwalk on the Falls. We are currently under construction on additional multi-family communities. We are busy and we need your expertise turning great design into a great place to live!  

 * $1000 hiring incentive available for this position - $500 after the first 90 days and $500 after six months* 


Typical Day as a Construction Laborer with Fine Carpentry Skills:


  • Maintain control of the site as to cleanliness, safety, and required staging areas.
  • Assist with general finish carpentry tasks
  • Quality control in all phases of construction, including Completion of punch lists by due dates
  • Acts on directions of Superintendent and V.P. of Construction.
  • Act as a hands-on Carpentry / Construction assistant
  • Assist in coordinating field activity.


The Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years Carpentry / Construction experience.
  • Finish Carpentry skills preferred
  • Good working knowledge of residential construction.
  • Solid working knowledge of industry standards and uniform dwelling codes.
  • Ability to operate power and hand tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.  
  • Good communication skills.
