Job description

We are looking for HHA for our Home Care Services

‍♂️ 1. Personal Care (Main Responsibility)

This is the biggest part of the job:

  • Bathing, showering, and hygiene
  • Dressing and grooming
  • Toileting and incontinence care
  • Oral care, hair care, shaving

This is hands-on, physical care—the core of HHA work.

️ 2. Daily Living Support (ADLs & IADLs)

Helping clients function day-to-day:

  • Preparing meals and feeding assistance
  • Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying)
  • Grocery shopping or errands
  • Medication reminders (NOT administering unless certified)

❤️ 3. Basic Health Monitoring

HHAs are not nurses, but they help observe:

  • Checking and recording vital signs (if trained)
  • Watching for changes in condition (pain, confusion, swelling, etc.)
  • Reporting concerns to nurses, family, or supervisors

4. Mobility & Safety Assistance

Preventing falls and helping movement:

  • Assisting with walking or transferring (bed ↔ chair)
  • Using walkers, wheelchairs, or lifts
  • Ensuring a safe home environment

5. Companionship & Emotional Support

This is often underestimated but very important:

  • Talking and engaging with clients
  • Providing social interaction
  • Supporting mental and emotional well-being
