Department: Intercollegiate Athletics-IWUM
Campus Location: Recreation & Wellness Center
Summary of Position: This position will coach and serve as an assistant to the Offensive or Defensive Coordinator and will include recruitment, camp operations, scouting, and film breakdown.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Duties may include, but are not limited to, coaching and serving as an assistant to the Offensive or Defensive Coordinator
  • Other duties include recruiting qualified student athletes, use of recruiting software, camp operations, scouting, film breakdown, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, and any other duties assigned by the Athletic Department

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required

Experience
One to three (1-3) Years of High School or Collegiate Coaching Experience
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
Required Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of computer applications for recruiting and video exchange and breakdown
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work weekends & evenings and also to travel
