Description

The Greenville University Football program is seeking applicants for the appointment of Graduate Assistant Coach. ย This appointment begins June 1, 2026. ย This Graduate Assistant will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the Football program as well as secondary responsibilities assigned by the Athletic Director.


Compensation includes a stipend and a tuition waiver for a master's program at Greenville University.


To be eligible for the Graduate Assistant position, applicants must complete the graduate program application, receive provisional acceptance, and enroll in a Greenville University graduate program. ย This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship as all Greenville University Graduate Programs are offered online only.


Greenville University is a NCAA Division III institution, located outside of St. Louis. ย Greenville University is an evangelical Christian liberal arts college associated with the Free Methodist Church, whose faculty and staff affirm a Statement of Faith.


Areas of Responsibility:

  • Coaching & Training: Assist in planning and leading practices and competitions.
  • Recruitment & Retention: Help identify and engage prospective student-athletes through emails, phone calls, letters, and ย ย ย ย ย social media.
  • Academic & Spiritual Mentorship: Support student-athletes' academic progress and lead team Bible studies or faith-based mentorship initiatives.
  • Administrative Support: Manage team operations, maintain databases, and assist in fundraising, marketing, and community ย ย ย ย ย outreach.
  • Game Day & Event Management: Assist with athletic events, performances, and university-related activities as assigned by the ย ย ย ย ย Director of Athletics
