Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated HS Boys Flag Football Coach - Independent Contractor to lead our HS Boys Flag Football program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes. This role involves developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sportsmanship environment. The HS Boys Flag Football Coach - Independent Contractor will work closely with students to enhance their understanding of the game while ensuring their safety and well-being during practices and games.
The coach will be responsible for developing fundamental soccer skills, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship, and creating a positive, structured environment that reflects the mission and values of Empower College Prep. This individual will serve as a mentor and role model while building a competitive and character-driven program.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead engaging, organized practices
  • Coach and supervise games
  • Teach fundamental soccer skills and strategies
  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and school leadership
  • Ensure student safety and adherence to school policies
Qualifications
  • Prior coaching experience required (middle school experience preferred)
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes
  • Commitment to student development both on and off the field
