Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate assistant football coach for Camas High School. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, connect well with kids, and have high school coaching experience. This role involves developing training programs, managing team dynamics, and promoting the physical and mental well-being of all participants. The coach will work closely with athletes of various skill levels, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their personal best.
Duties












Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of the team.
Conduct regular practices, ensuring that all athletes receive appropriate instruction and feedback.
Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect.
Monitor athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills.
Manage behavior effectively during practices and competitions, employing behavior management techniques as necessary.
Communicate regularly with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and expectations.
Organize competitions and events, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently.
Stay current with trends in sports coaching, physical education, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a comprehensive athletic program.









Experience


Previous experience coaching high school football.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to educate and motivate athletes of all ages.
First Aid/CPR card required or obtained upon hire.
