You'll serve guests in exclusive VIP hospitality areas while delivering exceptional service and helping create an unforgettable experience for Tar Heel fans, alumni, donors, and special guests.

Position Summary
As a UNC Football Game Day VIP Bartender, you will be responsible for providing outstanding beverage service in premium hospitality areas. You'll interact with guests, maintain organized and well-stocked bar stations, and help ensure a first-class experience throughout each event. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, dependable, and enjoys working in a high-energy team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to VIP guests throughout game day events
  • Prepare, stock, and maintain bar areas before, during, and after events
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly and professionally
  • Verify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service regulations
  • Engage with guests and create a welcoming, elevated hospitality experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations and service areas
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including bar equipment, supplies, and displays
  • Monitor inventory and restock beverages, mixers, ice, and supplies as needed
  • Work closely with event managers and hospitality team members to ensure seamless service
  • Perform cleanup and side work as assigned
  • Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow

Qualifications
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality
  • Previous bartending, hospitality, catering, or food service experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Current TIPS Certification required
  • Must be eligible to serve alcohol according to North Carolina regulations
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation within the Greater Triangle area
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing situations

Compensation
$18.00 per hour
