Summary of Position:
This individual is fully trained in all team responsibilities and takes on additional leadership in the manager’s absence. They oversee daily food operations, ensuring all company standards are met across food preparation, customer service, and team performance, while handling additional duties as needed to support the operation.
The TEAM LEADER’S duties include::
• Leads shift operations in the absence of the manager, including supervising, training, opening/closing, food readiness, and managing breaks and transitions.
• Coaches, motivates, and develops team members to strengthen performance and consistency. Sets the standard by confidently executing all tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Works alongside the team, stepping in where needed to ensure smooth, timely operations.
• Upholds all health, food safety, and company safety standards without exception.
• Ensures full compliance with franchise programs and operational expectations.
• Delivers fast, accurate service while maintaining high product quality and a strong guest experience.
• Take ownership of additional responsibilities as assigned to support overall operation success.
Desired Skills amp; Experience:
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
• Read and understand all checklists, manuals, and pertinent building operation manuals.
• Use technology as directed.
• Cross-train and work in all food areas.
• Quickly and accurately operate all point-of-sale systems.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes:
o Minimum of 2 nights a week
o Rotating weekends
o Some holidays
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to properly lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 pounds in the stocking and merchandising of the store inventory. Perform basic mathematical calculations. Must be able to stand up for an entire eight (8) hour shift. Standing, stooping and bending as necessary to stock and inventory merchandise.
