Minuteman Food Mart Assistant Store Leader

Job Title: Assistant Store Leader
Report To: Store Leader

Experience -

Some management experience preferred.
Previous retail experience.
High School Diploma or GED.

Skills -

Able to work well with others.
Good attention to detail.
Good communication.
Analytical and reasoning.
Customer Service
Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for all areas of operations of the store in the Manager's absence, which includes Guest Service, Profit and Loss, Human Resources, and all other functions of the store.
Performs specific tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
Assists the Store Manager in seeing that the store is maintained to Minuteman Food Mart standards.
Adheres to all Government ABC and Tobacco regulations.
Has reliable transportation to meet scheduled work times and timely deposits as required.
Provide all guests with "OUTSTANDING" Guest Service by setting a good example for fellow employees and ensures this is being done by all employees at all times.
Ensures the Store Manager is aware of all sales, cash, and operating discrepancies.
Follows proper clocking in and out procedures through the company computer.
Works with entire staff to ensure they are doing everything necessary to score 100% on all branded Mystery Shops.
Merchandising

Utilizing suggested selling techniques with Guests.
Ensure all store equipment, including fountain, coffee, and food service areas are properly maintained.
Ensures cooler, store shelves, and displays are clean, fully stocked, and fronted.
Immediately notify the General Manager of any maintenance problems.


Work Schedule -

Assistant Manager will be scheduled for three-second shifts and two first shifts. The second shift will put a member of management on both shifts. The two-day shifts will be the days that the manager will be off, and the assistant will be responsible for all managers' tasks for those days.
