Job description

Tri-Township Schools is seeking a dedicated and reliable employee to join our Food Service team. This role is essential in helping us provide nutritious meals to our students, supporting our commitment to fostering a healthy and positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will work in the school kitchen and cafeteria, assisting with meal preparation, service, and cleanup.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with school nutrition guidelines and menu plans.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
  • Set up and maintain serving stations, keeping them clean and stocked.
  • Assist with inventory management by tracking food and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Interact with students in a friendly and courteous manner, promoting a welcoming environment.
  • Follow policies and procedures for handling food allergies, special dietary needs, and safety protocols.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in food service or kitchen work preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
