Position: Dietary Aide

  • 1 Full time: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Part time: 3:00 PM- 7:00 PM

Essential Functions:

  • Food Preparation & Service: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in the dining room or their individual rooms.
  • Cleanliness & Sanitation: Ensure all food preparation areas are kept clean and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
  • Dining Area Maintenance: Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining areas after meals.
  • Stocking & Inventory: Receive and organize food deliveries from vendors, ensuring proper storage in the pantry, refrigerator, or freezer.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including safe food handling and sanitation practices during food preparation and storage.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the dietary supervisor or facility management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or senior care setting, is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
