Job description

The Role

Objective:
Ensure that all aspects of food operation service are being executed safely and in accordance with HACCP plan. Be a representative of Legends and facilitate County Health Department visits during events.
Description:

Before Concert: Inspect all food stands prior to shows to identify and resolve any potential health violations. This includes but is not limited to: making sure Temperature Logs are posted on refrigeration and hot holding stations; all necessary logs for production are available for cooks; all thermometers, small wares, gloves, etc... are available in locations for cook staff; all hand towel dispensers and soap dispensers are stocked; Check hand washing stations to make sure hot water is working.
During Concert: County Health Officials will be on site every event to review our operation and do a walkthrough of the venue. This will occur during the event while the kitchens are operating. The Food Safety Supervisor will accompany the Officials during their visit and rectify any violations that may be acknowledged. Before and after the visit the Food Safety Supervisor will continue to walk the venue to identify and rectify any potential violation.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Experience in Food & Beverage industry.
  • Experience with Health Department
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proven management/supervisory experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Serv Safe certified

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift. Must be able to frequently lift and carry food and other items weighing up to 45 pounds and occasionally greater. Must be able to go from warm to cold climates (workstation to coolers). Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company's risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you.
