Job description

Are you ready to shape the future of snacking? Join us as a Quality and Food Safety (QFS) Supervisor at our Rome, GA manufacturing facility. In this on‑site, night‑shift role (10:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., Sunday –Thursday with flexibility based on business needs), you’ll lead key initiatives that ensure our products meet the highest standards of food safety and quality.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, quality‑focused team working closely with Corporate Quality and plant leadership. This role offers opportunities to drive continuous improvement, support compliance programs, and strengthen team capability. If you’re passionate about food safety and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, you’ll make a meaningful impact here.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Compliance Leadership  Ensure adherence to microbial, sanitation, and food safety requirements, including HACCP, mandatory training, line validations, and third‑party audit readiness.
  • Program Management – Oversee allergen controls, inspection programs, and the site Food Safety Plan, while managing the QFS Lab budget and associated documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement – Drive HPO initiatives, ensure compliance with SOPs and KPIs, and support development and maintenance of the site’s QFS SOP database.
  • Team Development – Lead, coach, and train QFS Technicians, ensuring they have the knowledge, tools, and support to be successful.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in quality and food safety
  • HACCP, SQF, and PCQI experience
  • Hands-on microbiology laboratory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering accountability and execution

Compensation

The annual salary range is $82,700 – $108,570 which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
