Food Regulatory Analyst

Hershey, PA

Remote or Hybrid

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Analyst to support the review and validation of food regulatory and product information. This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy and consistency of graphic and database content against approved reference information.


The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, data validation, and organizational skills. The Regulatory Analyst will work closely with internal Regulatory teams, leadership, and third-party vendors to identify discrepancies, track issues, and support continuous improvement in data quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and proofread graphic and database content to ensure accuracy and consistency with approved reference information.
  • Analyze data patterns and trends and apply logical reasoning to assess data integrity.
  • Perform data validation by cross-checking information across multiple data sources using both automated and manual review processes.
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and accurate reviews.
  • Identify, document, and track discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Analyze recurring issues and trends and escalate findings to leadership as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal Regulatory teams and third-party vendors to resolve data discrepancies and improve data quality.
  • Prioritize multiple assignments and manage competing deadlines effectively.
  • Support accurate representation of product information across various platforms and content formats.


A Typical Day

A typical day will involve reviewing graphic and database content against reference information to ensure accurate translation and representation of product details. The role will also include data management, logging and tracking errors or discrepancies, analyzing trends, and communicating findings to Regulatory teams and leadership.


Because the work involves detailed and repetitive reviews, the successful candidate should be comfortable performing methodical, quality-focused tasks consistently throughout the day.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the food industry, preferably in one or more of the following areas:

Food Regulatory

Nutrition

Food Science

  • Experience working with and managing multiple sources of information online.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.


Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in food regulatory review, product labeling, nutrition information, SmartLabel, data validation, or related food industry functions are highly preferred.
