Job Summary
Innovative PR is looking for a charismatic Public Relations Account Coordinator for our Beauty & Lifestyle Team with a passion coordinating and supporting Account Executives in PR strategies to secure press, experience communicating with talent agents for social and celebrity deals, and a knack for event coordination. The ideal candidates will have excellent written communication skills, a general understanding of the media landscape, and a passion for helping clients amplify their brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
The Public Relations Account Coordinator Responsibilities will be (but are not limited to):
  • Support and coordinate Account Executive with multiple client account programs and teams delivering strategic value
  • Support and coordinate day to day activities on client accounts and regular conference calls
  • Brainstorm creative partnership and activation ideas for clients as well as new business opportunities
  • Support and coordinate launch strategies surrounding client partnerships and activation
  • Support and coordinate planning and execution of client events (i.e. vendors, production, invite outreach, budget, etc.)
  • Multitask, support, and coordinate across multiple client accounts and projects under deadline
  • Support and coordinate Account Executives to ensure that key milestones and projects are on track, within prescribed timelines and on budget, etc.
  • Support and coordinate with Influencer Team on outreach for brand partnerships need be such sendouts and mailers
  • Stay on top of entertainment and celebrity tastemakers for partnership advisory of brand campaigns
  • Track industry trends and identify relevant opportunities for clients
  • Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Assist in the development of proposals for new business presentations

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of previous experience working with beauty and lifestyle brands in house or at a public relations agency
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace products (Sheets, Slides, Spreadsheets)
  • Preferred previous experience working with Influencers and/or Influencer marketing campaigns
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and time management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Preferred proficiency in PR tools (i.e. Muck Rack, Cision, Airtable)
