Job description

Assembly Line Tech

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting an Assembly Line Tech for an onsite opportunity in Monroe, NC. In this role, you will operate assembly equipment and support production operations while ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and accurate documentation in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

The Assembly Line Tech will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

  • Proficiently operating assembly equipment lines, including gel, Cap Assembly, and Holder systems

  • Achieving and maintaining target Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

  • Performing basic troubleshooting and clearing machine faults

  • Performing IPC testing and notifying Set-up personnel if adjustments are required

  • Completing all required documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Monitoring production performance throughout the shift to ensure goals are met

  • Performing basic math functions and collecting, recording, and analyzing production and quality data

  • Utilizing Z-Point computer software

  • Reporting manufacturing or equipment issues promptly to minimize scrap and downtime

  • Maintaining understanding of Device History Records (DHR), Production Orders, and Material Lists

  • Ensuring components are replenished as needed

  • Following cGMP guidelines at all times

  • Completing scheduled cleaning of equipment and work areas

  • Collaborating with technical staff on improvements and participating in periodic equipment maintenance

  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Prior manufacturing experience

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Basic math skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Basic understanding of computer systems

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours

Work Schedule & Details

  • Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

  • Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

  • Rotation: 2-2-3 schedule

  • Training: Must train on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), Monday–Friday as needed

  • Location: Onsite – Monroe, NC
