Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily food manufacturing schedules, equipment line setup, and volume production output quotas.
  • Enforce plant safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality control metrics on the assembly floor.
  • Supervise, onboard, and manage shift schedules for a team of approximately 20 food production operators.
  • Track manufacturing machinery uptime and partner with maintenance engineers to resolve mechanical issues rapidly.
  • Conduct objective annual floor staff performance reviews and deliver standardized skills training updates.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial food production, manufacturing line supervision, or food plant operations.
  • Deep operational knowledge of FDA food safety standards, GMP, and HACCP compliance frameworks.
  • Conversational to business-level English communication skills to direct factory floor employees.
  • Business‑level Japanese language proficiency to manage technical reporting for corporate leadership.
  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Business preferred.
