Job description

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Complete order fulfillment in operating systems (Fishbowl and Monday.com). Make daily purchases based on incoming customer orders and current inventory level.
  • Contact vendors to request information regarding price, availability, lead time, and product specifications.
  • Assist purchasing manager in negotiating prices, timelines, and other terms, and complete estimated landed cost calculation and entry.
  • Support Purchasing Manager by maintaining supplier performance metrics, monitoring open purchase orders, and ensuring timely communication of delays or supply risks to internal stakeholders.
  • Enter purchase orders accurately into the system and issue to vendor via email. Orders need to be precise for price, quantity, payment terms and shipping methods.
  • Monitor and track supplier performance, proactively follow up on open purchase orders, and coordinate with vendors and NURA China Team to ensure on-time delivery. Proactively identify potential supply, inventory, pricing, or delivery risks, recommend solutions, and escalate issues as appropriate. Interact with vendors and internal team (CSR/Sales) to ensure any changes in production, shipping and delivery time are fully communicated
  • Proactively investigate and support resolution of supplier issues related to damages, missing items, or quality deviations from specifications.
  • Handle PR/SR and procurement activities for specific projects (e.g. flavor-related), working closely with Sales and R&D to support product development timelines.
  • Collaborate with the sourcing team on daily PR execution, supplier development, and sourcing initiatives. Maintain monthly update on Nura Price List, provide timely pricing support to the Sales team, and identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and operational efficiency.
  • Verify invoices and resolve discrepancies with accounts payable.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate a proactive mindset by anticipating purchasing needs, taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, communicating issues early, and driving timely resolution to support uninterrupted business operations

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and commitment to precision and clarity.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional groups
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel (including PivotTables), Power BI, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of a dynamic growth-oriented business.
  • Proven experience of 2 years as a Purchasing Assistant, Buyer, or similar role is preferred.
  • Fishbowl and Monday.com experience is preferred.
