Janitor Food Prep - Highly Skilled and Motivated

Are you a dependable and trustworthy individual? Do you enjoy working in a clean and organized environment? If so, we have an urgent opportunity for you to join our team at Smoothie King as a Janitor Food Prep.

Smoothie King, a successful and renowned brand in the Food & Beverage industry, is dedicated to helping people live healthier lives through nutrition. With over 1,100 units operating in 33 states, the Caymans, Trinidad, and the Republic of Korea, we have become a leader in providing delicious and nutritious smoothies, snacks, and nutritional products.

Overview:

  • Afternoon/evening schedule during the week, some weekend shifts.
  • Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Move large/heavy equipment regularly to sweep/mop/clean
  • Lift 50 lbs. overhead
  • Cleaning all glass: windows (interior/exterior), sneeze guards and drive-thru sign
  • Operating 3 Compartment Sink (Wash, Rinse, Sanitize)
  • Washing, rinsing, and sanitizing all dishes
  • Collecting and taking all trash to dumpster - NO food can be left in trash bin inside overnight
  • Washing trash cans
  • Wiping down all lobby tables/seating/straw holders/napkin holders
  • Ensuring prep is done for the next day (fruits/veggies/powders/juices/etc.)
  • Rotating everything in fridges/freezers (strawberries, bananas, etc.)
  • Sweeping/Mopping BOH, lobby, bathrooms, etc. (multiple times during shift)
  • Picking up trash around the building, in the drive-thru lane, etc.
  • Pulling out fridges/freezers, sweeping and mopping behind/under units
  • Keeping restrooms clean (sinks, toilets, mirrors, etc.)
  • Maintaining toilet paper and paper towel supplies
  • Ensuring mop bucket is dumped and clean (detailed)
  • Draining sinks and wiping down black prep cart
  • Sweeping and mopping the entire store
  • Cleaning the exterior of all fridge/freezer units
  • Wiping down the ice cream freezer and rolling table
  • Stocking prep bar and back up cooler
  • Completing all dishes before leaving
  • Putting away chemicals and ensuring no chemicals are left out front
  • Keeping front counters, swinging door, and detail sanitizer buckets clean
  • Cleaning the office desk and mopping the office
  • Detailing W/R/S ice scoop + holder every night
  • Cleaning the drain under FOH sprayer sink
  • Detail sprayer handle on sprayer sink
  • Wash, rinse, sanitize red sanitizer buckets throughout shift
  • Clean dipper well ensuring it does not get clogged
  • Wiping down speed rail and tile walls FOH
  • Cleaning the sprayer sink and ice cream freezer
  • Wiping down all stainless surfaces, including handles
