Pay Rate Starting at: Level $18.50/ hr Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority.

SUMMARY

The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. The Carry Out Cafe assistant manager must possess reasonable knowledge in storing, preparing, and maintaining products, as well as demonstrate competency in inventory control, ordering and receiving product. Strong organizational skills, as well as prioritizing multiple tasks are required. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide attentive and courteous customer service by fulfilling customer requests for freshly made products (i.e.: pizza, subs, chicken, salads)
  • Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding prepared food operations, safety, and sanitation
  • Maintain and enforce a aclean as you goa policy to ensure sanitary conditions at all times
  • Assist in the achievement of financial goals such as sales gross profit maximization, as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense
  • Adhere to company policy through proper processing, preparation, and packaging of product
  • Follow all store Shrink guidelines with regard to keeping track of all discards
  • Complete all necessary paperwork relating to Carry Out Cafe Department (i.e.: KLT, SIR380)
  • Training and development of Carry Out Cafe associates
  •  Ensure proper temperatures and working condition of cases (hot and cold) as well as maintaining all equipment
  • Follow direction of the Carry Out Cafe Manager and act in their place when absent
     
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Possess strong communication skills
