Start your morning with craft coffee, fresh juices, and breakfast bites; graze on global-inspired noshes throughout the day; or unwind with cocktails and shareable plates that celebrate Nashville's spirit and the world's flavors. Our menu reflects a bright, modern New American style - blending Tennessee's distilling heritage with the diverse tastes that shape today's culinary landscape.
Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Bartender to join our restaurant team at Junie's in the Motto by Hilton hotel. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating memorable guest experiences, skilled in mixology, and able to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard, Junie's recipes and guest requests.
  • Learn and maintain thorough knowledge of Junie's food menu, actively promote food items to guests, and make recommendations to enhance their dining experience. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Monitor and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Process guest orders promptly and accurately using the point-of-sale system.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly and with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with restaurant team members and management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Keep up-to-date with beverage trends, new products, and hotel offerings to enhance the guest experience.
  • Keep inventory stocked and requisitioned in each shift.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, or bar setting.
  • Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail preparation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Valid state-issued TABC license or alcohol service certification (as required by local law).
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity to operate bar equipment and prepare beverages.
  • Capacity to work in a noisy and busy environment.
