Job description

Locums Gastroenterology Physician in Tennessee - 1-2 Weeks Per Month, ERCP Required

This hospital-based GI assignment offers flexible one- to two-week coverage blocks with travel fully covered. ERCP is required, while EUS is not, making this a focused inpatient gastroenterology opportunity.


Practice & Cases


  • Inpatient consult service with hospital-based procedures
  • General GI coverage including GI bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus, and elevated liver enzymes
  • ERCP required; EUS not required
  • Support from endoscopy nursing and OR teams

Schedule


  • One- to two-week coverage blocks
  • 24-hour call coverage during assigned weeks
  • Daily workflow includes rounding, urgent consults, and procedures
  • Flexible block scheduling with time between assignments

Requirements


  • Must be an MD or DO
  • Active Tennessee license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification required
  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • BLS, ACLS, and DEA required
