Locums Gastroenterology Physician in Tennessee - 1-2 Weeks Per Month, ERCP Required
This hospital-based GI assignment offers flexible one- to two-week coverage blocks with travel fully covered. ERCP is required, while EUS is not, making this a focused inpatient gastroenterology opportunity.
Practice & Cases
- Inpatient consult service with hospital-based procedures
- General GI coverage including GI bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus, and elevated liver enzymes
- ERCP required; EUS not required
- Support from endoscopy nursing and OR teams
Schedule
- One- to two-week coverage blocks
- 24-hour call coverage during assigned weeks
- Daily workflow includes rounding, urgent consults, and procedures
- Flexible block scheduling with time between assignments
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Active Tennessee license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification required
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- BLS, ACLS, and DEA required

- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are covered
- Travel accommodations coordinated for scheduled coverage blocks
