• Conduct thorough assessments of students to identify social, emotional, and behavioral challenges impacting their academic performance and overall well-being.
• Develop tailored service plans that include specific therapeutic goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes, while consistently monitoring progress.
• Provide individual and family counseling, utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients navigate life's challenges and improve their coping strategies.
• Engage collaboratively with students, parents, and educators to create a supportive network that promotes the child’s success both in and out of the school environment.
• Deliver crisis intervention services, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety plans for students in acute distress.
• Establish partnerships with community organizations to facilitate access to resources such as housing, food security, and additional mental health support.
• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance your skills and ensure best practices are being implemented.

The LCSW will primarily focus on supporting school-aged children and their families facing various challenges, including anxiety, trauma, family dysfunction, academic difficulties, and behavioral issues. By providing culturally competent and trauma-informed care, you will help empower students to overcome barriers, achieve academic success, and improve their overall quality of life.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding of developmental psychology and child behavior.
• Proficient in utilizing telehealth technologies for remote counseling sessions.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to effectively connect with diverse populations.
• Deep knowledge of community resources, social and economic justice issues, and their impact on mental health.

• Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with trauma-informed care approaches and evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT and DBT.
• History of advocating for marginalized groups and familiarity with local social service agencies.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 100,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
