Knife Drop Studios, the production company behind chef and social media star Nick DiGiovanni, is looking to hire a full-time Longform Video Editor to craft engaging, high-quality long-form content for our Nick DiGiovanni YouTube channel.

Who we're looking for

We are seeking a skilled, creative, and detail-oriented Longform Video Editor with a proven track record of editing compelling longform content for YouTube. This role requires strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of digital content trends to create videos that captivate millions of viewers.

Bonus - you have a passion for food and working in the food space, particularly editing that style of content!

Who you'll work with

As a Longform Video Editor, you will directly support our Post Production Supervisor and greater editing team. You will also work closely with all stakeholders involved in our videos.

What you'll bring to the team

  • 3+ years of experience in video editing on a professional level
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
  • Deep understanding of creating engaging long-form content, pacing, and audio & visual storytelling
  • Strong skills in sound design and music selection to elevate emotional impact and viewer engagement
  • Top-notch organizational skills, a strong ability to multitask, and an eye for detail
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and bring new creative ideas to the table
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in fields related to film studies or video production
