Position Summary:

The Distribution Clerk at FSI receives incoming freight, maintains accurate inventory, effectively and efficiently picks and packs orders, loads and unloads merchandise, stocks and rotates inventory on a regular basis.

Position’s Key Responsibilities:

  • Check incoming merchandise against purchase order and ensure accuracy of all orders. Check quantity received against bill of lading, check quality (damage of products), process bill of lading with matching purchase order.

  • Unload and stock merchandise in the designated area of the warehouse.

  • Stack and package products neatly and carefully to avoid damage to merchandise.

  • Efficiently and accurately fill customers’ orders per pick slips.

  • Load trucks according to scheduled route or onto freight carrier.

  • Work with the warehouse crew in picking and stocking products in the cooler and freezer as well as the general warehouse area.

  • Rotate new and old inventory, fill out stock items from back stock.

  • Properly use equipment in a safe manner. Inspect equipment daily and weekly to ensure equipment are safe to use.

  • Assure compliance to safety and security standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Starting Pay: $22.00/hr., Depending on Experience
Pay Range: $22.00 – $26.99/hr.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience working in warehouse and distribution center.

  • Certified in operating Forklift, rider jack and pallet jack preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office and basic computer functionality.

  • Knowledge of Asian products preferred.

  • Excellent customer service

  • Basic math skills

  • Ability to multi-tasks and prioritize.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
