Job description

Head Dairy Stocker

Duties:

  • Take inventory and order product to ensure proper stocking
  • Maintain log book on deliveries of product (credits, pickups, etc.)
  • Assist stockers in unloading and counting deliveries and in stocking
  • Cleaning shelves, displays and cooling units to ensure sanitary and pleasing displays
  • Placing product in the appropriate freezer/cooler/backroom
  • Work in new items (if required) and fill displays, face products
  • Ensure proper removal of trash and other stocking debris from sales floor and back room
  • Rotate stock
  • Report and record product damages and credits
  • Other duties as assigned.

Abilities:

  • Basic mathematics (counting, addition and subtraction), Ability to work independently. Ability to read, write and make records of credits, pickups, etc. Communication skills. Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Demands of Position:

  • Able to lift 50 pounds. Work includes standing, reaching, reaching above the shoulder, twisting, bending/stooping, squatting, kneeling.
