Job description

Title: Food Service Assistant- North Campus
Reports to: Principal/Food Service Manager
Job Goal: Perform routine food service activities related to the setting up of serving areas and the serving of food to students and staff; maintain cleanliness of food service area.

Performance Responsibilities:
Confirm with all vendors lunch orders are arriving on proper day
Accept food delivery daily from local vendors.
Prepare food service facilities for the serving of food; count and set out an appropriate number of food trays; prepare the serving area for the serving of meals.
Print sheets needed for lunch service using the FACTS system.
Maintain work areas and serving areas in a clean, sanitary and safe condition
Maintain unused food and supplies; dispose of unusable leftovers and garbage.
Manage Milk Cooler, and counts of milk and temperatures daily and report to South Campus Food Service Department
Place Milk with the Dairy
Maintain regular attendance, absence is to occur and secure a substitute.
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Understand and follow oral and written directions.
Work cooperatively with others.
The ability to successfully complete a criminal history and background check
Must have strong commitment to Catholic education and model behavior in accordance with Holy Family Regional School mission and philosophy.
Understand and abide by the Archdiocese of Detroit contract for employment and the specifications it contains regarding the expectations of a Catholic school employee.
Education and Experience:
Must have High School Diploma
