Job Summary:

As a Delivery Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our carefully crafted meals reach kindergartens safely and on time. You’ll be the face of our company during deliveries, fostering relationships with school staff and ensuring that every delivery is handled with care. Key Responsibilities:

A. Entry Level

Operational:

  • Deliver meals from the catering facility to the assigned School on a set route.
  • Load and unload food items safely and securely, ensuring all meals are handled according to health and safety standards.
  • Verify that all deliveries match the packing list, and ensure proper documentation is completed at delivery sites.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
  • Communicate with the kitchen and operations team regarding any delays, changes in orders, or issues during delivery.
  • Adhere to all traffic regulations and drive safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure that food is delivered on time and in optimal condition, maintaining temperature control as required.
  • Build a positive relationship with staff at delivery locations.
  • Participate in the daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly cleaning schedules of the work areas to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Report any maintenance or issues with the vehicle promptly.
  • Assist with other tasks assigned by the direct leader, such as helping the kitchen team with packing food or other tasks as needed.
