Job description

The Catering Delivery Associate contributes to the success of the business and has responsibility, through the direction and control of restaurant operations, to grow sales, ensure a positive guest experience and maximize restaurant profitability. Catering is a key part of the restaurant management team focused on maintaining the highest standards of food delivery, service, cleanliness, safety and sanitation and will take direction from the supervisor on requirements to deliver those expectations.


Reporting Relationship: The Catering Delivery associate reports to the General Manager. Assistant GM and Catering manager


Pay Range: $15.00 + Tips


Essential Functions:

The specific, day-to-day duties generally include:

  • Order Preparation: Checking order manifests to ensure all food, drinks, serving utensils, and paper goods are accurately packed and secured for transport.
  • Transportation: Driving a personal or company vehicle to the delivery destination while strictly obeying traffic laws and managing travel times.
  • Food Safety: Monitoring holding temperatures for hot and cold foods, and strictly adhering to sanitation guidelines during transit.
  • On-site Setup: Carrying and arranging buffet tables, chafing dishes, and meals at the client's location so it is ready to serve.
  • Customer Service: Greeting clients, verifying the order with the event host, explaining setup details, and handling payment or obtaining signatures.
  • Clean Up & Returns: Returning at designated times to break down the setup, clear event areas, and return dirty equipment and leftover items to the catering facility.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Performing routine checks on the delivery vehicle (e.g., fuel, oil, cleanliness).

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
