WTWH Media seeks a skilled writer to support the Branded Content Studio's Food and Hospitality portfolio. The Branded Content Writer will work on QSR and FSR , which report on the restaurant industry ranging from fast-food giants to fine-dining establishments; PMQ , which reports on the pizza industry; CStore Decisions , which reports on the convenience retail market; and Club & Resort Business and Club & Resort Chef , which report on the entire private and semi-private club and resort market.
This is a full-time fully remote job opportunity, which will allow writers to write content for print and digital platforms in collaboration with our sponsors while blending journalism and advertising skills. Content types may include sponsored articles, eBooks, white papers, and promotional materials, among other content needs.
Our digital media brands are read by the top decision-makers at publicly traded and privately held companies in this sector. Readers also include industry investors, technology partners and other stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you'll need to be organized, creative and self-driven. You'll need to be comfortable with deadlines and have a track record for filing clean copy. You'll need to maintain an ever-curious mindset, asking all the right questions that help you become an expert in our space.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborating with team members to report, write and publish content
  • Conceptualizing, researching, writing and editing content for industry audiences
  • Supporting the editorial team on special projects

Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, creative writing or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a journalism, advertising, or marketing role, and should have a portfolio demonstrating an ability to conduct interviews and write polished reported business articles through school publications, internships, freelance writing, or previous work experience
  • Experience managing freelance writing assignments is a plus
  • Ability to multitask, take new assignments in stride and learn something new each day
  • Demonstrated research and writing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
