What you get to do:

You will help lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go. You will model and perform the highest standards of service as you foster a positive atmosphere for everyone you come into contact with. You will:

  • Supervise, train, and counsel Ambassadors
  • Perform the job duties you're supervising
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals
  • Develop team members through training, feedback and coaching
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
  • Assist leadership with supervision of planning, directing, and organizational needs of the department with a focus in Catering, Special Events and Consumer Events & Festivals
  • Respond to guest and team member needs
  • Assists leadership with employees scheduling, training, food ordering and equipment

What it takes to succeed:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • At least 1 year of experience in the food and beverage industry or similar high volume leadership capacity
  • Able to lead and develop ambassadors in daily job task
  • A role model for SEA safety, guest service, attendance, cleanliness and wardrobe standards
  • Able to work with and lead ambassadors in areas that sell and serve alcohol.
  • A valid Driver's license and ability to meet company driving guidelines preferred
  • Able to complete a Food Safety Manager certification and pass the exam
  • Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs. on a frequent basis.
  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift
  • Frequent bending from waist to floor, kneeling, squatting, simple hand grasping work and fine hand manipulation (computer work/typing, writing).
  • Occasional overhead reaching and climbing stairs and ladders
  • Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of weather conditions
  • Perform all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
  • Able to work a flexible schedule (Includes: Weekends, holidays, catering events and evening hours)
  • Flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities
