Position Overview
Oliver Inc. is looking for an experienced Folding Gluer Operator/Adjuster. This position is responsible for independently setting up and operating folding gluer equipment to manufacture products that meet exact specifications. You will ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality throughout production runs while maintaining safety and supporting overall departmental goals.
SHIFT - 2nd (3 - 11:30pm)
About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Folding Gluing Operator/Adjuster, you will:
  • Set up and operate folding gluer equipment, including feeders, glue systems, folding sections, compression units, and pack stations
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure proper folding sequence, glue application, scoring, and alignment
  • Run and monitor automated inspection systems to maintain quality standards
  • Continuously inspect product during production and make adjustments as needed
  • Interpret job tickets, production schedules, and specifications
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and verify job materials
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor troubleshooting on equipment
  • Complete post-production cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

About You:
You're a fit for the role of Folding Gluing Operator/Adjuster if your background includes:
  • Prior experience as a Folding Gluer Operator in printing, packaging, or folding carton manufacturing (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Bobst, Heidelberg or similar folding gluer equipment (strongly preferred)
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and quality issues
  • Understanding of glue systems, folding sequences, scoring, and carton construction
  • Ability to read job tickets and use measurement tools (calipers, rulers, gauges)
  • Strong math skills, including basic measurements and conversions
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
