Job description

Overview:
Supports new business processes and marketing deliverables for assigned area of Global Capital Markets (GCM).
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for Client Development Officers (CDOs) in new business processing, Including contact management, workflow reviews and new business folder remediation related to GCM clients.
  • Provide marketing support and coordinate with the Marketing team for all conferences, tradeshows, events and marketing collateral requests.
  • Provide administrative support to CDOs and Unit manager, including travel and entertainment (T&E) processing, system input, travel itineraries and ad-hoc requests.
  • Attend conferences and events supporting the CDO and administrative teams as needed.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree,
OR in lieu of a degree,
A combined minimum of 4 years' higher education and/or work experience
Proficient in the use of personal computers and pertinent software packages
Education and Experience Preferred:
Ability to learn and prioritize workloads
Business or financial services experience
