Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee cash drawer operations, ensuring proper cash stocking and accurate pay ins/outs.
  • Count and log cash on hand daily, managing exchanges with FOH staff.
  • Maintain FOH inventory including paper products, juices, and non-perishables; place orders twice weekly.
  • Track and reorder essential supplies like receipt paper and printer ink to prevent shortages.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly inventory checks for retail and FOH products, ensuring accuracy.

Closing Duties

  • Individually check out FOH staff and Dish Pit to confirm completion of closing tasks.
  • Ensure BOH equipment is turned off and refrigerator doors are closed.
  • Secure all doors, turn off interior lights, and set the alarm upon leaving.

Staff Management

  • Ensure FOH staff provide prompt and exceptional customer service.
  • Identify service gaps and assist in filling them efficiently.
  • Communicate open menu counts to back of house (BOH) to manage service pace effectively.
  • Enforce policies and procedures and address issues promptly.
  • Schedule FOH staff based on availability and service needs.
  • Manage hiring processes, conduct interviews, and complete new hire documentation.
  • Enter new hires into Square and 7shifts systems accurately.
