Telemundo is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support the financial operations of the Daily Shows & Specials portfolio within the Content Finance organization.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance, this role serves as a key finance partner supporting Telemundo's daily programming and special event productions through financial planning, forecasting, reporting, month-end close, and operational finance activities. The Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting production budget oversight, and providing timely analysis and insights that drive informed business decisions.

This position partners closely with Business Operations, Executive Producers, FP&A, Controllership, Human Resources, Operations & Technology, Legal, and Vendor Management teams to support the financial lifecycle of productions from planning through close and reporting.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, demonstrates strong analytical and organizational skills, and can effectively balance operational execution with financial analysis. This role offers significant exposure to production leadership, executive stakeholders, and high-profile programming initiatives while supporting some of Telemundo's most visible daily shows and special events.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Build, maintain, and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, estimates, and long-range planning models.
  • Administer and maintain the BPC Financial Planning system, including data uploads, reporting, system enhancements, and process testing.
  • Serve as the primary finance contact for accounts payable activities, including vendor onboarding, vendor maintenance, payment processing, and invoice management.
  • Partner with Business Operations, FP&A, Controllership, IT, Human Resources, and Vendor Management to support business operations and financial objectives.
  • Monitor actual versus budgeted spend, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to finance and operational leadership.
  • Support the preparation of executive presentations, dashboards, and recurring financial reports used for business decision-making.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial planning deliverables, including forecasts, budgets, long-range plans, and variance explanations.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis, special projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency and financial transparency.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, financial controls, and accounting standards while ensuring accuracy of financial records and supporting documentation.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience within Finance/Accounting field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related fields.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite products.
  • Experience using financial / accounting software and applications (SAP and BPC preferred).
  • Proficiency in verbal Spanish language.
