About this Opportunity:

Responsible for supporting the marketing team with digital content, product photography, creative production, and visual asset organization. This role will be a temporary role that focuses on photographing products and components for the development of digital instruction manuals and is perfect for someone with a foundational understanding of marketing design, photography, and digital content creation.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform primary duties.

Photographs products, components, parts, and processes steps for use in instruction manuals, technical documents, and marketing materials.

Sets up basic product photography shots, including lighting, positioning, background, and composition.

Captures clear and accurate images that help explain product features, assembly steps, installation details, and usage instructions.

Utilizes Adobe Lightroom Classic to import, organize, edit, and export photography assets.

Performs basic photo corrections, including cropping, exposure adjustment, color balance, sharpening, and file preparation.

Maintains organized photo libraries with clear file naming and folder structure.

Assists with the layout and formatting of instruction manuals, flyers, brochures, one-sheets, and other materials using Adobe InDesign.

Supports updates to digital and print marketing collateral.

Helps prepare images for use on websites, emails, social medica, presentations, and printed documents. 

Follows brand standards and project instructions to ensure consistency across materials.

Collaborates with the Marketing team and subject matter experts to understand the photo needs and project requirements.

Other tasks as needed.


Location:

Evolution Motion Solutions is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position will be based out of our Auburn Hills, MI facility.



Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required. Must meet the minimum requirements listed in each Qualifications subsection. 


EDUCATION:

Current student, or recent graduate pursuing a degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, photography, technical documentation, or a related field.


EXPERIENCE:

Working knowledge of photography, including composition, lighting, focus, and image quality.

Experience with Adobe Lightroom Classic for photography organization and editing.

Foundational understanding of Adobe InDesign and page layout principles.

Knowledge of preparing files for both digital and print use.

Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop or Illustrator.

Experience with product photography, technology documentation, or documentation photography.


SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Strong attention to detail, especially when documenting product features or step-by-step processes.

Excellent organizational skills, especially with digital files, image libraries, and creative assets.

Ability to follow directions and ask for clarification when needed.

Ability to manage assigned tasks and meet time critical deadlines.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse and office.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to general warehouse and office conditions including noise and temperature fluctuations.
