Job Description Special Education Teacher - Specialized & Inclusion Programs (ACC / Focus / Academics) Location: Greater Austin / Hill Country Area, TX Job Type: Full-Time Contract & Continuous Placements Available About Us: A Different Kind of Educational Partner At e&e Educational Partners, we do things differently. This means we focus entirely on long-term culture fit, classroom continuity, and ensuring you feel supported, valued, and empowered to make a real difference. We are currently building our specialized educator team for high-impact classroom placements within premier public school communities across the Greater Austin and Texas Hill Country region. We are actively seeking candidates across multiple specialized program settings, including Life Skills/Self-Contained, Behavioral Support, and High School Inclusion.

Open Program Opportunities ACC / Life Skills Teachers (Elementary & High School Levels): Lead Academic & Life Skills Classrooms (ACC) focusing on functional academics, communication, daily living skills, and individualized goal acquisition for students with complex learning needs. FOCUS / Behavior Inclusion Teacher (Elementary Level): Provide specialized instructional and social-emotional support within a FOCUS/behavioral inclusion setting, implementing positive behavior strategies and de-escalation techniques. Academics Inclusion Teacher (High School Level): Support high school students receiving special education services within general education and resource settings, co-teaching and providing academic accommodations.

Key Responsibilities IEP Management & Compliance: Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), facilitating ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) committee meetings aligned with Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines. Instruction & Adaptation: Differentiate general curriculum or deliver specialized functional academic programs based on student needs and TEKS standards. Behavior Support: Implement Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), fostering a safe, structured, and positive classroom culture.

Team Leadership: Direct and collaborate with classroom paraprofessionals, related service providers (OTs, SLPs, LSSPs), and campus administrators to ensure student progress. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or an education-related field required. Licensure: Active Texas Educator Certificate in Special Education (EC-12 or relevant grade band).

Clearance: Ability to pass standard Texas Department of Public Safety fingerprinting and background check requirements. Experience: Prior experience with Life Skills/ACC, behavior management (FOCUS), or high school inclusion preferred; strong familiarity with Texas ARD processes required.
