Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze financial models for prospective new site developments, with a focus on feasibility and investment returns.
  • Lead and coordinate acquisition due diligence processes, working closely with third-party consultants and internal stakeholders while maintaining and updating acquisition and development models.
  • Manage construction funding and draw request processes with external build-to-suit partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify high-potential geographic markets and land acquisition targets using demographic, traffic, and competitive data.
  • Prepare investment committee memoranda and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Support transaction execution, including documentation, coordination with advisors, and closing activities.
  • Perform Placer AI analysis and reporting to evaluate site performance and market dynamics.
  • Assist with investor reporting, ad-hoc requests, and preparation of diligence materials.
  • Monitor and analyze internal and third-party budgets related to acquisitions and development projects.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and support special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in investment analysis, asset management, acquisitions, or a related field, preferably within retail, convenience store, or commercial real estate sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Placer AI, data analytics platforms, and financial modeling tools is highly desirable.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, positive, and results-oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for site visits and market due diligence.
