The Promotional Sales Ambassador is a guest-facing sales and experience role responsible for helping guests discover, explore, and maximize their AREA15 experience. As a key representative of the AREA15 brand, Promotions Ambassadors engage with guests throughout the campus, recommending attractions and experiences, answering questions, and driving ticket and pass sales through meaningful interactions. This role combines hospitality, sales, entertainment and guest engagement. Promotions Ambassadors serve as guides, storytellers, and advocates for the AREA15 experience, creating memorable moments that inspire guests to explore everything the district has to offer. The ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, creative, and comfortable initiating conversations with guests, and is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, exceed sales goals, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

*In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for commission based on Experience Pass sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience Management team daily to understand and convey marketing and sales messaging and initiatives.
  • Meet Sales Goals and KPIs established by Management on a weekly and monthly basis by performing various roles, such as Greeter/Floater, Promoter/Influencer, Hospitality Agent, and Street Team Member. The Promotions Ambassador should be flexible and capable of fulfilling any of these responsibilities as needed.
  • Play an integral role in the AREA15 narrative, guiding guests in their journey throughout the space and facilitating discovery with a focus on upselling experiences, events, retail offerings, and special promotions.
  • Promote and sell AREA15 Experience Passes, attraction tickets, special event tickets, package offerings, memberships, and other products and services.
  • Identify guest interests and recommend experiences, attractions, events, dining, and retail offerings that align with their needs and enhance their visit.
  • Introduce promotions and new products to guests by distributing brand product samples, brochures, flyers, etc., at various events and in support of on-site ticket sales at AREA15.
  • Serve as a primary driver of Experience Pass sales by proactively engaging guests, educating them on available options, and converting interest into ticket and pass purchases.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of AREA15 attractions, experiences, events, and promotions to effectively communicate value and drive sales.
  • Proactively engage guests throughout the property to generate excitement, build connections, and increase participation in AREA15 experiences.
  • Operate the POS system and handle ticket transactions and credit card processing.
  • Report on sales-related information, including interest levels, guest trends, questions asked, samples/flyers distributed, and tickets and passes sold.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and confidently answer guest questions regarding AREA15 offerings, pricing, events, and attractions.
  • Utilize relationship-building and storytelling techniques to create memorable guest interactions that encourage purchases and repeat visitation.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional guest service while balancing sales objectives and revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Participate in themed activations, costume experiences, special events, promotional videos, photo shoots, and other brand engagement opportunities as assigned.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
