Job description

Harvest Preparatory Academy is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and results-driven Marketing & Enrollment Professional to lead and support the Academy's marketing, branding, enrollment growth, and community outreach efforts. This position plays a critical role in promoting the Academy's mission, increasing student enrollment, strengthening community partnerships, and enhancing public awareness of the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, strong marketing abilities, and a passion for community engagement. This individual must be comfortable working both in the office and in the field, interacting directly with prospective families, community leaders, local businesses, and community organizations to promote Harvest Preparatory Academy.
Success in this role will be measured by enrollment growth, community engagement, brand awareness, and the successful execution of marketing and recruitment initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing & Branding
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans designed to increase enrollment and enhance public awareness of the Academy.
  • Ensure consistency of the Harvest Preparatory Academy brand across all communications and marketing materials.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns utilizing print, digital, social media, radio, outdoor advertising, and community outreach channels.
  • Design promotional materials including brochures, flyers, banners, presentations, advertisements, newsletters, and recruitment materials.
  • Coordinate and manage billboard, radio, newspaper, direct mail, and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Identify innovative opportunities to strengthen the Academy's visibility throughout the community.

Digital Marketing & Communications
  • Manage and maintain the Academy's social media platforms and digital presence.
  • Create engaging content including graphics, videos, photography, student success stories, and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate updates to the Academy's website and ensure information remains current and accurate.
  • Monitor social media engagement and digital marketing performance.
  • Produce regular content highlighting student achievements, school programs, events, and organizational accomplishments.
  • Assist in developing communication campaigns directed toward current and prospective families.

Enrollment Recruitment & Community Outreach
  • Develop and execute enrollment recruitment strategies to support student growth objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage door-to-door enrollment and community awareness campaigns in targeted neighborhoods.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise outreach teams participating in community canvassing efforts.
  • Attend community events, fairs, festivals, open houses, school tours, and networking events to promote the school(s).
  • Build relationships with community leaders, churches, businesses, civic organizations, and local stakeholders.
  • Coordinate flyer distribution, neighborhood outreach initiatives, and grassroots marketing efforts.
  • Maintain records of prospective student leads and assist with enrollment follow-up efforts.
  • Track outreach activities and provide reports on enrollment lead generation and conversion efforts.
  • Represent Harvest Preparatory Academy professionally and positively within the community.

Event Planning & Promotion
  • Coordinate marketing and promotional efforts for school events, ceremonies, fundraisers, community outreach events, and special programs.
  • Assist with planning and execution of enrollment events, recruitment activities etc.
  • Provide on-site support for Academy events, including evening and weekend functions.
  • Coordinate event photography, videography, and media coverage.

Content Development & Public Relations
  • Draft and edit newsletters, press releases, website content, marketing materials, and promotional communications.
  • Capture and promote student, staff, and organizational achievements.
  • Assist with media relations and public communications.
  • Develop compelling stories that highlight the Academy's mission, programs, and accomplishments.

Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics.
  • Monitor enrollment trends and campaign effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports regarding outreach activities, enrollment leads, community engagement, and marketing performance.
  • Recommend improvements and adjustments based on data and results.

Additional Duties
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by administration.
  • Collaborate with departments across the organization to support strategic objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule Requirements
This position requires flexibility in scheduling and a strong commitment to supporting the Academy's marketing, enrollment, and community engagement efforts.
The Marketing & Enrollment Professional must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed to support enrollment campaigns, community outreach efforts, special events, school functions, fundraisers, registration activities, and other organizational priorities.
Overtime may be required during peak enrollment periods, marketing campaigns, major events, and other Academy initiatives. The successful candidate must be willing to work additional hours when necessary to ensure the success of Academy programs and recruitment efforts.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred not required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and professional experience may be considered.

Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, sales, community outreach, enrollment management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience coordinating events and community engagement initiatives.
  • Experience in education, nonprofit, customer service, sales, or recruitment environments is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong graphic design and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms preferred.

  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements
