Job description

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Community Program Director, the Y on the Fly Coordinator is responsible for the development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of the Y on the Fly program in Alliance and the surrounding communities. The Y on the Fly Coordinator ensures that all operations i.e., direct program implementation and management duties are carried out in a manner that delivers exceptional service to program participants and funders.

$14.30/hour - commensurate with experience
Hours
15-20 per week
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Two years experience in the area of youth development, education, social services, community outreach
  • Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively
  • Must be able to work in an outdoor environment, with all that accompanies it
  • CPR, First Aid and AED training

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily activities. Includes STEM and CATCH program implementation
  • Maintains an accurate system of records and reports
  • Insure safety of program participants
  • Program participant reward and incentive programs
